Frozen Gâteaux Piments or Chilli Dhal Fritters
If you're a fan of falafel, then you're going to love these Mauritian dhal fritters. Known as gateaux piments, these fried balls are packed with the flavours of spring onion, fresh coriander and fiery green chilli. They're great served as a light snack or starter, or crushed inside a crisp white baguette for lunch.
Ingredients: Organic Split Peas Dhal

Cooking Instructions:
1. Keep the packet mix in a container with warm water and leave to soak for 50 – 60 mins.
2. Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chillies and spring onions. Add salt according to taste.
3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Use a tablespoon to scoop out, roll in ball and fry in preheated oil until golden. Use medium heat.
